Have tried this place a few times, and it is always inconsistent. Sometimes the food is better than others, and the service is always spotty. We just went there recently when we had a friend in visiting. Thought it would be ok. We got there at 7:45, and the place was half full. The owner greeted us and had the bus boys setting up our table. I am not sure why it took as long as it did, but whatever. We were seated, and not long after a waitress came and asked us if we would like wine. Then our waiter came over. He was an older gentleman. He didn't introduce himself. He didn't read us the specials, and just said, "You look like you've had enough time to decide" and out his pen up to his order book. We ordered and when I interrupted him to ask if the course came with a salad he got all annoyed. We ordred Calamari and baked clams for apps. The clams were salty and the calamari ok-a little rubbery. I ordered the onarosa chicken and my dining partners two of the pasta dishes. Mine was not really that good. The brown sauce tasted good, but there was hardly any chicken in the dish and my husband said his dish was swimming in too much sauce. The salads were also unappetizing. The pacing of the meal was off too. Everything seemed to be coming out of the kitchen way too fast and we felt rushed. Our waiter never came over to see if everything was ok, and although he walked past me about ten times, he never stopped to see if I would have liked another glass of wine even though he had to have noticed the empty glass. Overall, my husband and I felt a little embarrassed to take our friend here, because the food was not really that good and the waiter was so rude. That was it for us with that place. Never again.

My husband and I joke that this place should be called, "OH NO Rosa". We live literally 2 minutes away, and have given this place 3 chances. Every time, our waitress dilly dallied (who knows, maybe it was the chef) while we waited an exorbitant amount of time for our food, which was never any better than diner food. Seriously, you couldn't pay me to go back here. Go 5 minutes down the road to either pizza place by A&P for better italian food!
